"Dive" was a project inspired by the song "Dive" by Nirvana, as this illustration was intended to be cover art for it. The woman’s head is open, with a ladder inviting you to climb inside. This was a quite literal interpretation of the lyric “dive in me”. I also integrated the title of the song into the ripples of water in front of the woman.

After I finished the original piece, I felt that it looked rather dull, so I decided to recolor it using more vivid and engaging colors. I also altered the composition of the background, which has helped to add depth and vibrancy to this illustration.
